Count D's Mustaine Prototype V

So this is a very special Gibson / Mustaine Flying V Prototype made to demo the shape and playability for Dave. It has his signature pick-ups which are really incredible!

It’s not perfect, as it has some holes that have been filled on the headstock where the tuners were installed. It’s also missing what became the signature inlays, making it extremely rare. It plays like a dream and truly sounds crushing. 

Piggy’s tech on the current tour was the same tech for a long time in Zombie. He left to go work for Mustaine which is how this guitar was acquired. Piggy is a big Megadeth fan and wanted to use his guitars for this tour. It opens the show of the current tour and is used on several songs every night.
